A Bit About Me
I am a studio artist with a specialization in painting with a particular focus on acrylic painting. I am a graduate from Western Kentucky University for a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts. My work expresses my internal world externally touching on deeply personal and harsh topics. My work is diaristic and takes influence from Van Gogh and Francis Bacon. Their use of color, the human figure, and confident mark making in their brush work to process their mental states and their situations during their lives. My paintings are a way to drain the poison of my experiences and allow the viewer the ability to glean into my mind and origins.
